| Solanaceae family Cestrum citrifolium Retzius in Hoffmann, Phytogr. Bl. 1: 36. 1803. Indigenous quite rare shrub/small tree of deciduous and semi-evergreen seasonal forest. We have seen this species Grande Anse Estate as far as Anse Louvet, Dauphin, to Dennery, and on ridges on Mount Parasol, Anse La Raye. Dominica, Martinique, St. Lucia, St. Vincent, Grenada, Mesoamerica, South America. Fruits turn blue/purple. The name Cestrum laurifolium L'Héritier has been misapplied to this taxon. |
