| Orchidaceae family Brachionidium sherringii Rolfe, Kew Bull. 1893: 4. 1893. West Indian endemic. Epiphytic herb on deep moss in cloud montane rainforeston the peaks of the Gimie Range. St. Kitts, Guadeloupe, Dominica, Martinique, St. Lucia, Greater Antilles (Jamaica, Hispaniola, Puerto Rico). We have found this species along the Gimie-Canaries ridge and on Piton Troumassée summit. |
