Ti konkonm Naturalized quite common vine of open dry areas, especially wasteland. Native to tropical Africa? Apparently a weed of cotton fields in the US and possibly introduced here with cotton seeds? It has been around Gros Islet for at least 80 years and the fruits used to be stewed as a vegetable. Also reported from Guadeloupe (Fournet). |
