| Araceae family Anthurium guildingii Schott, Oesterr. Bot. Wochenbl. 7(38): 301. 1857. as "Guildingii" Sidjinn Lesser Antillean endemic. Common robust epiphytic and terrestrial herb of all level of rainforest, and elfin shrubland. Saba, St. Kitts, Montserrat, Guadeloupe, Marie Galante, Dominica, Martinique, St. Lucia, St. Vincent. This species was made synonymous with Anthurium cordatum (Linnaeus) Schott in FLA and in the Catalogue. However the 2 species are quite distinct (pers. comm. T. Croat of MOBOT). |
