A tea of zèb a vè, Dysphania ambrosioides, is the most common vermifuge in St. Lucia.  Oil is sometimes added.  The leaves made into a poultice with other herbs are used to treat wounds and sores.  For combining it with other herbs in a syrup for asthma and cough.  It is thought to benefit the pancreas, and aid digestion and clean the womb after childbirth.
