Indigenous very rare tree of lower montane rainforest.
St.
Kitts, Guadeloupe, Dominica, Martinique, St. Lucia, St. Vincent,
Grenada, Greater Antilles (Hispaniola, Puerto Rico), South America.
I have not observed this species in flower or fruit. In Guadeloupe a closely related species flowers about every 7 years.
